Client: The Honey Project

Role: Designer / Editor

For the Honey Project in London, I created a Ghibli-inspired wildflower meadow animation that captures the natural beauty of the outdoors. The scene features a variety of wildflowers—daisies, poppies, lavender, and sunflowers—gently swaying in the breeze, with a color palette of deep greens, golden yellows, soft purples, and vivid reds to create a peaceful, natural atmosphere.

The animation uses a slow, cinematic Ken Burns-style zoom-in, gradually drawing the viewer deeper into the meadow. With subtle parallax effects, the flowers appear to shift in depth, adding realism to the scene. Soft sunlight filters through the petals and leaves, with floating pollen and dust particles enhancing the sense of life and movement. The depth of field changes as flowers pass in and out of focus, creating a calming, fluid experience.

The soft pastel blues of the sky and warm golden light help create a tranquil and organic feel, aligning with the Honey Project’s themes of nature and sustainability. The animation serves as a simple yet effective way to engage the audience and reflect the project’s connection to the natural world.
